I live in the quiet foothills of the Ballyhoura Mountains, where the landscape is ever-changing and endlessly inspiring. What began as a simple curiosity has grown into a deep connection.
My photography is rooted in that connection to the environment. Iām drawn to the subtle relationships between light, weather, land, and the way a change in season can transform a familiar place, or how the smallest of details can reveal the health and fragility of an ecosystem.
Being a self-taught landscape photographer has allowed me to follow my own curiosity and instinct, learning directly from the land itself. Each walk, each image, is part of an ongoing process of paying attention, of noticing what is changing, what is enduring, and what may be at risk of being lost.
Being in the outdoors whether high on a hillside, in a valley, or immersed in a native woodland my photography is both a personal reflection and a quiet acknowledgement of the environment I find myself in. In sharing it, I hope to encourage a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the importance of protecting it for our children and grandchildren into the future.
